 Password issues: cPanel account
Solution

Log in to cPanel, select the Change Password icon in the Preferences group to modify your cPanel password.

For step by step instructions, check out this video tutorial:

http://hostpapasupport.com/tutorials/demos/cpanel-x3-voice/cpanel-x3-pwchange.html

Remember that you have more than one password with HostPapa, and changing this password only changes your cPanel and FTP access. You also have a billing password which will not be updated by making this change.

Lost your cPanel password?

From the cPanel login page, click on the Reset password link. Enter your username and click on the Reset password button. A new page will appear and a confirmation number will be sent to the email address we have on file for you. Type that confirmation number into the field on the new password reset page, and a new password will be created. This will be a completely random password.

Write down the password. Once you navigate away from the new password page, you will not be able to go back. If you find the generated password difficult to use, follow the steps presented at the beginning of this article.

If you do not receive the confirmation number email within 30 minutes (please check your junk mail folder), we can reset your password manually. Please open a ticket at
