Domain Registration and Transferring: .COM.MX

Registrations: NIC.MX is an open registry; you do not have to be a Mexican resident or business operator to register a COM.MX domain.

Transfers: Before you submit to transfer your .COM.MX domain name to HostPapa, please do the following:

  1. Obtain the domain’s AUTHINFO code from your current registrar.

  2. Ensure that all contact information on the domain is correct.

When the transfer request is submitted, the request is sent to the registry (

NIC.MX) along with your submitted AUTHINFO code. We will notify you upon transfer completion.
