The KernelCare config file is located at /etc/sysconfig/kcare/kcare.conf and by default just has one option added to enable automatic updates every 4 hours.
AUTO_UPDATE=True
To check if patches have been applied:
kcarectl –info
To check the installed KernelCare version:
kcarectl –version
The software will automatically check for new patches every 4 hours. If you would like to run the update manually:
kcarectl –update
To see the patched version of the kernel?
Run:
kcarectl –uname
To see which patches were applied to your kernel?
Execute as root:
kcarectl –patch-info
